Classic stout posting this shite with a 15 page thread on the first page started 7 hours ago.
STFU
That thread is already off the rails and the video would get buried there. A new thread specifically for the video enables people who might not click on that thread again to see the video.
You guys act like space on the front page is oceanside real estate.
Ignore the thread if it bothers you.

It's most definitely not the B&T bolt action pistol (VP9 or six -45)that is designed after the welrod.
With the B&T you have to turn the bolt, slide it to the rear, push it back forward and turn it.
This guy grabbed the slide, pulled back and released it.
all .22lr pistols are subsonic unless it it has a 12" or longer barrel. Professional would know that and wouldn't use sub .22.
Besides that, been reported that police recovered 9mm casings.
I'm betting he was using a semi without a booster.

Did anyone driving by hear anything? Is the person who ran away still alive?

You know how I can tell he’s a pro?
Because I’ve never heard of anything in your post until I just read it.

Suppressor does not equal pro
Pro would have walked up point blank
Amateur does it on a busy street with a witness 6 ftt away
This was personal by someone who probably blames the insurer for profits over people or some shite like death of a loved one.

The route the shooter took on the Citi Bike can be traced, or if he was really stupid he could have used a card that can be connected to him to rent it or he could have not have masked his IP address.
Wonder what dead guy's wife really thought of him.

Also reported that he was shot in the leg. after the 1st shot, Thompson moves like something hit him in the leg.
That's a bad shot for 20ft.

Probably former military or LEO
I don’t think a mysterious contract guy is popping into a starbucks for a pre-kill frappe.
Def knew what he was doing tho

The Welrod has a strange press/twist/push action.
He is clearly grasping a slide to finish cycling the round.

When you're executing someone you typically aren't concerned with how sporting it is

I'm ignorant on a Welrod but this seems completely unnecessary? A pro could easily find a pistol that's untraceable back to them and then suppress it, throw the entire thing away in the river, and there'd be no evidence. A regular suppressed pistol saves him 10 seconds or more.
So why use this antiquated technology here?

Was that a lady on the right side that hauled arse after the shooting? She would be a great witness.
I would have ran, made a quick u-turn, get on his blindside and do a tight headlock on that pos.

a "pro" would have picked up the spent casings on the ground to remove all physical evidence. Now they can at least trace the ammo to cartridge, manufacturer, and possibly when & where purchased. Shooter better make sure that weapon is never found
additionally, a pro would have made 1 "kill shot", at point blank to the back of the guy's head, not 3-4 random shots in the back.

Just curious why you say that?
Most are saying he is most likely using a suppressed handgun with low velocity ammo to reduce the noise and hand cocking the handgun to cycle it and collect the spent casing in one move.
That's a pro move.
The pro move is to still divert enough gas to cycle the weapon.
Realistically I have no idea if he's a pro or not, but it's super weird to have an incorrectly gassed pistol if you are assassinating someone the world actually cares about and you are trying to get away with it. Plus the suppression didn't end up mattering because some random saw your arse do it anyways and everyone has a cell phone.
