Netflix has gone way downhill since the Hulu/Disney/ESPN super merger, What a great reason to finally cancel this shite.

They all do it. Hulu/espn/disney still has stuff i watch though. It's still really good. Netflix has lost just about everything decent.

They haven't had anything compelling enough to get me to sign up again. I guess I will get it when the 3 Body Problem drops but after i finish it I will cancel.

I had no interest in the Stranger Things finale. The massive amount of time between seasons along with the same plot every year, I gave up after season 3 and from most reviews of the final season, I didn't miss much.

Hell, I wish I did like more of their content but at the moment all they have to pull me back in is the 3 Body Problem.

Netflix pumps out garbage and expects everyone to keep paying for their woke agenda. It’s hard to swallow all the great roles the oppressed are getting. Soon there will be a black trans quadruple amputee superhero.

My final straw was watching some random movie called Sisu. It said my plan wasn’t good enough to watch.

I can afford it. Time to run their nose in the shite they created.

I live overseas, i use my foreign phone #/eSIM to sign up for Netflix premium for $4 per month .. same shows as in America.. only thing is, i hardly ever watch Netflix.. i think the last thing i watched was the Charlie Sheen doc a couple months ago, before that was the Tom Brady Roast, over one year ago.. but at $4 usd per month i just keep it since it’s so cheap .

Ive been doing most of my streaming on Tubi and it doesn’t cost a damn thing. Commercial breaks are entirely reasonable too. Wife and I are talking about 86’ing Netflix anyway. This will only make that more likely.

Netflix would have been an infinitely better company if they simply stuck to being a DVD rental service

We have the commercial or ad version- I think it’s half of full price

I suppose it is feeling around for the cliff at which subscriber count will fall, and it’s really close.

Netflix isn’t the undisputed king of streaming anymore. But it is the most fricking expensive.

I wanted to do a rewatch of the first few seasons of House of Cards

Netflix says I can’t because I’m not paying enough on my subscription.

fricking show a decade old with a disgraced actor is on their “premium plan.”

Thats the nail in the coffin for me

Yep. And Pluto TV is free too. I dropped a lot of the pay services. I still find plenty to watch. Don't even miss them

While at the same time the content quality keeps going down. They are definitely a quantity over quality model now. Apple+ by far has the best library

I gave all these up and went back to collecting Blu Rays. Between Ebay, thrift stores, and goodwill, I’ve never spent more than $3 for one, and at $300 a year for Netflix, that alone is around 100 new titles I can add to my collection, and that’s not including if you pay for hulu and HBO max.

They hinted a while back that the ad version is the most profitable. They’re increasing prices on the ad free versions faster to push people into the lower tiers, while the premium tiers will eventually match cable prices.
