As a woman, I don't understand why your wife is trying to pressure you to do something as big as having another child. That's such a huge commitment even if you're married to try to force someone to do. It's not like getting a puppy.

I dont get only wanting one kid. I want at least 2, just to increase the likelihood of one of them being rich and paying for a life of luxury when I retire.

She’s gonna get pregnant whether you like/know it or not. ....if you don’t protect yourself against it. Getting snipped will be the best protection. Anyone who is dead set on having a child with someone who clearly doesn’t has mental issues. This is first stage of divorce type stuff. It’s a lot more serious situation than it seems. DO NOT AGREE TO IT IF YOU DON’T WANT IT. That’s about a 25 year mental, physical and financial burden. Hope it works out for you.

No but I like enjoying life and a newborn is hell on earth.
If I were hispanic would not be an issue since hispanic moms handle their business but my wife is product of white suburbia and her parents dynamic is basically what every white married couple on TV commercials is.
