Need marital advice from the gurus of the OT

Wife is dead set on having a second kid I'm dead set against it.
Since there is going to clearly be a loser and a winner, is divorce inevitable?
My argument is we're in our late 30s, not changing diapers at 40. I don't feel bad at all because we had over a decade where we didn't have kids and if it was that important to have a big family we'd have started then.

You should have a second kid not for you wife but for your only child. Only children are weird and fricked up. Plus if they're close in age, they can entertain each other instead of you having to.

I had my third kid at 40 and she's been a joy. I was the one who convinced my wife, she was 38. It's been no problem.
Don't do it if you can't afford it though.

Went last year. Was helpful for a little bit but then got to the kid / no-kid and there was zero compromise. The therapist and wife ganged up on me and tried every trick in the book but I held my ground like a true 1950s boss.

Money not an issue, like all poster on the OT I ball out basically shite money.
I just don't want another one because I don't want to go back to day zero at this age and you don't miss the kids you don't have.
