To me, this all makes it more likely, not less. The two have an affair. She ends it in a messy breakup that spills over into work. He gets obsessive and tries to make it happen again against her will. That seems plausible to me.

Feminists have been pushing for laws where its rape if a guy lies about anything during a date because the sex was had under false pretenses. Never mind the same could be true of padded bras or make up.
Here, its assumed that just because consent was given doesn't mean it was freely given because they might have just been going along with him because they didn't want to upset someone with a lot of power who could make their lives miserable. Which is a problem, because most women are naturally attracted to men with power anyways.
