A lot of corporate American quietly settles complaints as a cost of doing business even when they don't think it is legitimate.
Taking action against a high profile figure like this probably means that it was both serious and credible.

That guy was paid an insane salary. Do you really think they'd expose themselves to those kinds of damages he could claim if they didn't think the accusation was real?
The NYT was also investigating him. NBC clearly didn't just see smoke. They saw fire and acted.

No. I assume if they’re firing him they’ve got some pretty good evidence.
The poster I replied to was saying that he pretty much believes everything that’s been coming out because none of them women have been proven to be lying. I’m not saying all these women are lying. I’m saying that it’s nigh impossible to prove someone is lying in these situations even if they are

Wife watches GMA and I just go along with it and he's intolerable. I'm not left or right leaning, but his left agenda really detracts from the show. There will be a bunch to talk about in the world and he'll start the show with "Breaking News: Trump White House in Turmoil!" with no substance to back it up. And I think Trump is a fricking embarrassment.

I never really said I believed anyone. I know none of these people. Just said I was waiting for the first liar to be outed.
NBC just said it was a 2014 incident or series of incidents. Hopefully it was Billy Bush or the black girl who quit because she was gonna get bumped for Megan Kelly. Lol.
My guess is the accuser is the weather girl though. If I were to pick who I'd wreck my career for on that set it would be that girls arse.
