This dude isn't going to be able to sling dope at 47

First person to get a life sentence in the federal system for selling drugs was let out early for snitching. At 48 he was sentenced to another 15 year bid, for trafficking cocaine. It was his 2nd federal drug offense since his early release

27 1/2 years seems like long enough for solicitation of murder, if nobody was actually murdered. It could be as easy as the guy has AIDS or cancer. Need more information.

Isn’t ‘Birdman’ essentially broke? I know he lost most his homes and cars to bankruptcy/repo.

He snitched. It’s pretty much written out in the story.

I don’t get that take. What could he have snitched about 27 years later that would merit immediate release?

He will end up just like Soulja Slim. Shot dead on his maw’s lawn. I bet this makes the cuck DA in New Orleans happy.

Could they have let him out and could they be using him as bait for an associate of the old gang who is now more powerful?

I agree. I’m surprised he has anyone to snitch on.

Institutional corruption probably. Maybe federal CO's bringing in contraband. Could be like Avon Barksdale and Officer Tilghman in The Wire.

Yeah, he won’t last long…. He will have to put himself in his own figurative prison, to survive….

All he needs to do is trade information to solve an unsolved murder.
