Slim Williams, the rap mogul co-founder of Cash Money Records, has purchased South Florida's largest private house, a massive 34,000 square footer, for $7.15 million bucks, from the founder of Mattress Giant. The house, which is surprisingly located nowhere near the ocean, is in South Florida's most excessively suburban of suburbs, Weston, FL,, a stone's throw away from the Everglades.

As of 2022, Ronald Slim Williams’ net worth is roughly $170 million.

This is probably true but I'm genuinely curious...who or what could he even snitch about seeing as he's been locked up for 20 years? Any info he gives about people doing bad shite 20 years ago is probably irrelevnat now, and any info his people pass along to him in prison (why woudl they even do that though?) would be unsubstantiated.

You are very mistaken. He may not be on the corner selling but Terrance will be back in the game in no time.

Williams’ attorney, Townsend Myers, confirmed the reduced sentence but declined to comment. Attempts to reach Terrance Williams were unsuccessful. His mother said he remained in another state. Interim U.S. Attorney Duane Evans’ office declined to comment, citing Lemelle’s order sealing his reasons. Judge got paid
Judge may or may not have gotten paid, but it is much more likely that "Gangsta" agreed to not be "Gangsta" and cooperated with authorities.

Exactly. Also, there are guys coming in who have been recently active and they talk. He mightve found some info that will help the feds get a bigger, currently active fish.
If so, that explains why he is staying in another state, and if he's smart, won't return for a long time. He's got a target on his back for awhile (Luckily for him, there's faster turnover in the gangsta world than in the old days of Mafia style organized crime)

That doesn’t mean shite. It’s a lifestyle. Seriously doubt he leaves it behind.

Because nobody with a chance to do right has ever squandered it in similar situations

If movies have taught me anythign it's that yeah they can still be running things ha. I just assumed that since it was 20 years ago that might be different. I would have thought that the new generation of shot callers and dealers over the last 2 decades would at some point wonder why they are still dealing with this dude. Probably naive since I don't really know how it works, just thought it was odd.

This is what makes it so shady to me.
DA's aren't usually in the business of cutting deals with people they've already locked up...for life. They usually only make deals for pertinent info of current investigations in exchange for reduced sentences or immunity. With him being gone for over 25 years, i guess it's plausible he heard something from a chatty cellmate or something. But if that's the case, why wouldn't they just go straight to the source to corroborate the story? And with the justification being sealed, it's kinda opening the up the DA and/or judge up to accusations of being on the take.
I'd love to know what really went down here.

I read or heard somewhere that he snitched and helped set up on some corrections officers that were running a dope ring in prison.

Does he by anyone chance have a vehicle similar to the one on Broad St today?
