I rarely fly but I’m making a one way trip to Atlanta for business and riding back with a family member this weekend. Of course this shite happens. Spirit and Southwest ruling the skies right now

Glad I’m not flying today which is unusual for a Friday for me.

So which foreign hacker group are we blaming for this?

Not a hacker. Crowdstrike pushed a bad update. My question is why do so many people run crowdstrike.

Don't worry, y'all. I'm 100% sure that Outlook and Teams will be humming along just fine when I hit that office door in 30 minutes

I work for a national company not related to the travel industry and received a weird text with a link in it. Then there came a robo call advising me that if my computer screen doesn't perform right, to follow some steps.

It sounds like more than just airlines and possibly a Microsoft issue.

Direct deposit at my bank not there. Message on app screen saying they are aware of issue and working on it.

What would be the best tactic if stuck in an airport?

A: Book hotel room ASAP and get out of airport. Work on rebooking for another day.

B: Hop in line and hope for the best

C: Find a corner to sit in and feverishly work the apps

D: Get a rental car and start driving

Unfortunately all the rental car places at the airport are affected also.

Two flights cancelled yesterday... But I got on the last flight home from CLT ... There' were some that didn't think the last flight was going or were stand by and so they were going to wait and go out this AM. It sucks
I bet there are some one way rental cars on the road

When you get to your final leg and supposed to leave at 4pm but end up spending the night and then the next mornings flights get cancelled... It's a close race as to who is more incompetent. USSS Director or SEC of transportation... Because neither seemingly got their respective jobs off of skills

We took off on time from Bush via Southwest. It probably helps that there are only a few gates. Like I said earlier Delta looked like a cluster.
