Looks like she was shooting out of the 2nd floor window down at the cops when they got to her. Could have been worse for the cops on the street if the guys inside didn’t move as quickly as they did.

Yeah she shot out the window of one of the cruisers.

I'm curious to know what happened with the custodian. With as targeted as this feels, something tells me the shooter is a big-time BLM supporter and wouldn't just off some random black guy.

I wonder if he was trying to stop the shooter and that's why she took him out. If so, then he's also a hero.....even if he was unsuccessful.

fricking heroes!

Every last one of them. I hope those Uvalde cowards watch this with shame the rest of their lives.

These guys were amazing.

I can't imagine the feeling as they were getting closer to the piece of shite and had to walk past the body.

No hesitation and kept pushing each other forward.

The city should reward them with huge bonuses.

I'm no expert on if they did everything tactically correct, but from a human standpoint of putting your life on the line to protect children they were exemplary.

At one point a MNPD officer steps over a victim… in the hallway before reaching the shooter. Gut wrenching.

I’m just impressed with the way metro police handled it… even the lady who worked at the school… she was calm and informative to the officers.

Let's not let politics get in the way of reality here. This probably wasn't targeted down to the individuals killed.

This was a deranged person. Trans people suffer from mental illness and studies strongly establish almost all self-identified trans people suffer from other mental illness. Which makes it all the more heinous that our institutions will do nothing to stop the "DeSantis is committing trans genocide!" rhetoric coming out. They embrace it.

You take a crazy person with a politicized identity and tell xe that Christians are going to push them into extinction and here we are. The collateral damage (I don't mean that callously - I just don't know another way to describe the concept) of a black janitor may indicate the final targets weren't specific, but the larger target still likely was.

Every person in that video is a hero. All of them ran towards the gunfire and did what had to be done.

Interesting. Further confirms my thesis that she targeted the Pastors daughter. His most vulnerable family member at the most innocent location (a school). This lady is beyond evil

I get mad at all of the bully cop videos posted online, but this kind of heroics re-centers my thoughts. Just really impressive what those officers did and how quickly (without an ounce of hesitation) they ran to the gunfire to save innocent lives.

Damn that may have been the most intense thing I've ever watched in my life. Kudos to the cops, they acted very bravely. Officer Rex, he didn't sit around and wait until there were 100s of officers on scene. He called for 3, and he went right in. He took down the shooter in like 1 shot. Great shoot!
I didn't realize how bad a school is for entering into an active shooter situation. There's so many doors, hiding places, etc. Cops have to clear all of them because you never know where the shooter could be hiding.

That lady outside was amazingly calm and collected while relaying information to the officers. She probably shouldn't have been out in the open like that, but she was also very brave.

frick man, to have to walk past a dead body like that. Obviously cops did the right thing, but damn I can't imagine.

I loved the extra shots by officer Michael. I would have been ok if all of the cops unloaded on the shooter's dead body.

These officers deserve the medal of freedom. A huge raise, and really any other praise that we can possibly give them. All of them.

There's a lot of speculation that the headmaster was targeted.

Yes, I 100% agree with you. I would also hope that you would understand fundamentally that it takes good guys with guns (civilian, police, and military) to take out bad guys with guns. I say this, respectfully, in regards to some of your prior post in this thread wanting to restrict gun ownership.

Why would restricting gun ownership keep guns out of the good guys hands?

just imagine if there was someone in the school that was able to take down the murderer when they first entered the school. You can see in the video she was just wandering around. Would have been easy for someone to come up behind her and take her out.
