I can’t take opinions seriously from the group that wants to ban guns but also in the same breath outlaw bail, decriminalize the majority of crimes, defund the police and empower judges/DA’s who won’t prosecute violent crimes in metropolitan areas.

Seems like mental issues are the problem. Maybe if we treated trans people like they have a mental disorder instead of feeding them some shite lie like they deserve to be called whatever they want and that’s the truth, shite like this may not happen. But you wanna take guns away from law abiding citizens. Gtfo.

My point is that sometimes there is a tendency in politically motivated hate crimes to downplay the mental illness because it gets in the way of the political narrative. We've seen that in left and right violence.

Here, I certainly think this is a targeted attack. But we're likely to learn this isn't an ideologue meticulously undertaking a political act, it's probably a person on the edge of complete psychosis whose political/identity stuff is so intertwined with that it's impossible to separate. Hence, the black janitor becoming a victim despite her politics likely being lefty on the topic of race.

My point is that I never mentioned politics. I was never inferring that it was politically motivated.

As I stated earlier, I'm just curious as to if the custodian tried to stop the shooter. If that's the case, then it also needs to be publicized and him hailed as a hero for trying to stop her.
