NASA is offering $3 million to anyone who can invent a way to “recycle” dozens of bags of poop astronauts left on the moon more than half a century ago.

The space agency wants to come up with a way to transform 96 sacks of feces, urine and vomit — ditched by Apollo astronauts to lighten their load — into water, energy, and fertilizer, it said.

The so-called “LunaRecycle Challenge” urges scientists and innovators to solve the crappy problem and kickstart a “biological legacy” in time for its upcoming moon mission

NASA said it ultimately wants to “reduce toxic outputs” — from a galaxy fart, fart away.

“NASA is committed to sustainable space exploration. As we prepare for future human space missions, we will need to consider how to minimize various waste streams, including solid waste, as well as how to store, process, and recycle them in a space environment so that they are returned to Earth as little as possible,” the agency said.

Did it all turn into dirt or is it still intact since there are no bacteria or algae to break it down in space?

It came out with plenty of bacteria. The bags were filled with air. I wonder how long the bacteria lived and just how bad it got in those bags.

This is purely a guess, but I’d say it probably just dried out . My guess is any moisture it had would have evaporated in the next to nothing lunar atmosphere.

The only thing I can think of that would maybe interact with it would be solar radiation. What affect that would have, I cannot say.

Take one of those shirt launching guns from basketball arenas and fire those bad boys at Jupiter eventually they’ll fall into its gravitational well and if it hits the big red spot it’ll make a literal shite storm.

How to Make a Roux (Easy Roux Recipe) A roux is a fundamental step in many dishes, particularly in Cajun and Creole cooking, used as a thickening agent for sauces and soups. It's made by combining equal parts of human feces , puke and piss cooked together until it reaches a desired color and texture. The cooking time determines the color and flavor of the roux, ranging from white to dark brown.
