Emblems can be had for under 20 bucks on ebay. If the kid wanted to collect them, his parents could have purchased them for his birthday or Christmas or as rewards. No, lets teach the kid to beg for free stuff. Or even worse offer one penny to get 20 bucks worth.

They could have said no. Thankfully whoever received this kid's letters wasn't an a-hole and was also smart enough to realize the free marketing and goodwill coming their way would most likely be worth more than the cost of these emblems

I'm almost 40 and would be stoked to get a bugatti badge. Those Bentley wheel caps are weighted and on a bearing so they always remain right side up

Blue ovals for just Ranger model grilles are $32.95 at LMC Truck. Not cheap, but not break-the-bank expensive either. Viral marketing for $33.00? He'll get one from every make.

Hope his mom intercepted the Subaru emblem before it turned him into a lesbian.

And he sent that coin knowing it was nowhere near enough to pay for what he was asking for in return.

You think this kid knows the MSRP on a emblem?

Ha, stupid millennials. Getting stuff for free when they could pay money for it! This line of thinking is the reason Social Security exists.

That's great. Now the little thug won't have to rip emblems off my cars if he wants a luxury car emblem.

Spreading good through the world makes it a better place for us all.
I see a future mechanical engineering job at an auto company for this little fella.

Of course it was a Ford emblem that fell off on the side of the road.

My cousin and I got the idea to send every NFL team a letter to get team pictures and such when we were about 10, got almost a complete set.

"Dear Cincinnati Bengals, I have been a big fan my entire life..."

This kid is going to be like the Counts Customs guy when he grows up.

I used to collect a lot of football/baseball cards when I was 7-10 and I remember writing a bunch of letters to some of my favorite players with a card of them, needless to say most of them went unanswered with the exception of B Favre, and he sent back my card autographed. So awesome when something like that happens as a kid
