Chevy sent him a framed photo of their 2014 JD Power award for car dealership sales and service experience to those brands that rank highest in the industry.
Personally delivered by the douche in the commercials who began to immediately patronize the poor kid.

His parents are assholes for that. Kudos to that young boy though.

Cool story all around really. Kid is happy, probably made people at the car company feel happy, and the cost was probably minimal.
Happy for you kid!
Happy for you kid!

Forget the Price on the Ford emblem. That Bugatti one can’t be cheap.

He sent a coin which his mom probably told him to do to make the company feel obligated to respond. Just like those charities will send you a dollar bill or some nonsense. And he sent that coin knowing it was nowhere near enough to pay for what he was asking for in return.
His mom must be a millennial, it's exactly how they view the world.

Some of that might be worth something one day

Ford emblem Ebay
Emblems can be had for under 20 bucks on ebay. If the kid wanted to collect them, his parents could have purchased them for his birthday or Christmas or as rewards. No, lets teach the kid to beg for free stuff. Or even worse offer one penny to get 20 bucks worth.
Yeah, I know that is mean but it is the truth.
