She has probably been broke her entire life, with Adam supporting her for years, for whatever reason he has cut her off, and this is retribution.
Have seen it plenty of times where there is a successful person, and a loser in the family, the accusations for some reason are always toward the one with the money.

I do know that at the beginning of the corona shite he moved his elderly mother out of the NYC area across the country to his place in California. The sister must not have objected, or she got really pissed about it.
The only thing I know for certain is that his tattoo of a ruler on his forearm may be the only visible tattoo I'd consider getting. That is damn genius if you build stuff all the time.

They never cared for each other, personally. Professionally, they respected each other and their skills complimented each other, but they were complete opposite people. Adam loves the spotlight and all the tv stuff. Jamie liked the research and building but hated all the other stuff. Jamie is much more reserved and laid back. Adam is, well, not.
They have both said that, outside of professional functions, they haven't so much as had a meal together before. They viewed each other as colleagues and not at all friends.
Jamie had always struck me as much smarter than Adam, but Adam may have a few more skills. Jamie doesn't seem like a bad guy at all, but neither does Adam.
