You honestly have no idea about I.T. Hell ive pulled 7 miles worth of data and low voltage cable on a new construction for the network and security system.
The guys taking pictures and putting cars on the website are inventory guys. Not I.T. guys.

The first dealership I went to was an AutoNation dealership and apparently they have almost zero flexibility with the price. They politely asked me to leave and I walked away when we were 1700 dollar apart.
In other words you wanted to haggle with a dealer that has no haggle pricing?

A local dealer has a truck out front with a big sign that it is "$10,000 off!"
That may sound good to some people, but to me it communicates that their list prices are wildly inflated. It makes me want to avoid them and that whole BS process.

I didn't know what an AutoNation dealership was. I thought I could haggle considering it was a Lexus dealership.

Negotiating Lexus price and sales"person" says,
"You know Mr. K, a Lexus is not for everybody."
Mr. K. nods his head, drives 2 blocks down the road and pays cash for a $90,000 BMW .......

My visit to an auto dealership today by Will Cover
I walked into a dealership and told the sales guy that I was "going to buy a car today."
When we couldn't reach a deal and I started to leave he said, "I thought you said you were buying a car today."
My reply was "I didn't say I was going to buy it here."
I had a similar experience a few weeks ago...It was very strange... I felt that the sales manager was "trying to pull a fast one" on me so I decided to leave. The sales manager literally ran out of the building to chase me down in the parking lot and asked me " where are you going? I thought we had a deal "
Strange

You think the sales guys don't read tigerdroppings? The Will Cover Method is taped up on the wall in every back office to teach young salesman how to avoid being screwed out of their hard earned commission.

I know I come off as an arse, but I take amusement in the whole car buying process after 7 years being around it. As far as my job goes, I think I have the best job in the world. It's pretty damn cool.

Buying a car should be fun. But often it's the last thing I want to hassle with.

I emailed the dealerships. Found the vehicle I liked in at a dealership in Mississippi. The salesman responded with best price. They delivered it to me free of charge to Lake Charles. I’ll never buy a vehicle another way again.

There is no reason to go to a dealership anymore except to sign the paperwork. Seriously, figure out what vehicle you want. Research pricing and value on the vehicle.
Email the dealership or do the chat thing on the website to get in touch with a salesman. Do everything through text or phone calls. Show up and sign your papers and drive away.
