While it is very stupid to leave your keys in your truck in New Orleans and I have very little sympathy for the guy, it is still not his fault the truck was stolen.
The fault lies solely on the pieces of shite who stole another person's vehicle.
Yeah, it's a bad idea to dress like a hooker and walk around the East at 2 AM, but if you're raped it is not your fault, it is the rapist's fault.
fricking shame that people are so jaded in South Louisiana about major crimes that it's just a part of life that everyone should expect and constantly be cognizant of.

I do all the time, but have keyless entry, so it is locked at least. My dad on the other hand never takes his keys out of his Lexus and it has push button start
