Drove through Tigerland the other day and at the Alvin Dark/Jim Taylor four-way stop there was three ghetto black women in slippers and pajama shorts (at 3PM) talking in the middle of the road just watching people have to drive around them. I was shocked.

You know it's illegal to carry when you are at an establishment that serves alcohol right? Plus if he is walking in Sharlo/Alvin Dark alone, he is not old enough to own a pistol.

Told my daughter about this thread and she said her friend got robbed in this same exact area two weeks ago. Stole his phone, license, cash and credit cards. He carries a pocket knife around and supposedly hit one of the guys in the stomach. Good.
We were just talking about Tigerland the other day and she said there are two ways to get out of there and this is the way she would never ever go. Definitely need more patrols. It's apparently like shooting fish in a barrel.

Lived on Bob Petit in 1989-1992....walked home from Sports every night with nothing to worry about. This pisses me off.

I lived off Brightside from 08-10 and would walk home from Tigerland many nights but it was always at least me and one other person. Even then, I would not have done that walk alone.
