Would never buy a pontoon boat unless i lived on the water. And that thing would never come out of the water

The older I get the more appealing the Pontoon becomes

Get a boat and make sure it has enough arse to pull a tube or board. Your Wife will be happy and I've never met a kid who didn't like water sports.

That side by side you posted is an enormous piece of shite, and will cover you in mud. Get the boat.

Pontoon boats are like mopeds and fat girls. They get the job done sorta but hopefully your friends don't see you riding them.

I wouldn’t get a party barge unless you have somewhere to store it out the weather. Hell kinda goes for any pleasure boat but you get the jist. A fish and ski would be more appealing to me unless you be using it in Toledo. Then again my family likes to fish as well. I agree with others, a sxs won’t get used much. Repairs come into play also and those crew ones are a pita to turn on tighter trails.

Boat. Family has a Sun Tracker we keep in Marina Del Ray in Madisonville all summer and we LOVE the thing. We pull it and take it home in the winter and clean it up/service it. Lots more use and enjoyment than a 4 wheeler.

The boat is the right answer, but just be prepared. The old saying is very true, the best two days in a boat owner's life are they day they buy it and the day they sell it.

This is an easy choice and it's the boat. Just make sure you get at least 115 hp motor so if your kids want to ski or tube behind it you have enough horsepower.

Boat, its easier to find a place to go boat riding than it us to ride a buggy around.... esp in South LA. Desert states differ.

Boat is the only answer, but like others said, you need a big motor and a place to put it. Ours has a 150 Yamaha and will do over 40 if the water is calm. We keep at our camp under cover on a lift to keep it high and dry when not in use.
