German shepherds, labs
No one here is even contemplating this issue for a German shepherd or a lab because they don't regularly kill or maim people because they weren't bred to do that.

A bullet to head behind the ear is where I say to go.

Been around multiple pits,German shepherds, labs. And nothing bad happened nor were the dogs aggressive.
I owned a veterinary company for 11 years. Pitbulls make their attack decision with zero pre-thought, it’s just a switch that can be triggered by misinterpretation. Once the switch is flipped, no one can get them stop stop, not even the owners. You can’t beat them until they stop. They literally will not stop. The pit has no ability to think once it goes into action. Pit bulls have killed hundreds of thousands more people than you could ever find with a google search.
Meanwhile you can stop a German Sheppard or lab attack with a simple whistle or command.

So your a vet?
Where’s Colorado cocksucker who thinks his pit is the best dog ever.

The sweetest PB ever owned by a relative, after 12 years of peacefully loving everything around it, suddenly bolted across the street and immediately mauled and killed a dachshund on a leash of it’s owner and went for the owner ASAP when the dachshund was a small crumpled blob of fur and crushed bones/flesh. They are too strong to hold back from attacking once their brain signals their body to do so. DV me but it is what it is.

Relax, if they are decent people who know how to raise a dog don’t worry,. I had a lot of dogs since we rescued them. The best one is a pit bull we found 14 years ago, best dog I’ve ever had, he loves other dogs and doesn’t fight, kills coons though. It’s all about how they are raised nothing else.

Wrong. And you should put yours down before it hurts someone.

Pit bulls are awesome
As hog dogs
Any “real man” that has been around pits for what they are bred for understands they are awesome animals with a purpose, but having one as a pet is stupidity’s as shite especially with kids. I guarantee I have been around more pits than 99.9% of human beings and having one as a pet epically when you have children is absolutely moronic
And I’m someone that likes the breed

Monkey’s at the zoo are in a cage for that reason.

Unless you want to get in a ring with me?
My pitbull is 1-0 on protecting my house during a break in.
You probably own multiple cats pussy!

they did everything right: brought home a blanket with the baby’s scent, used the pacifier trick, introduced the dog slowly.
WTF?
If you have to do any of this with your dog, you are already fricked

I agree. Ground up glass mixed with sausage works much better.
