Rally burger was in the parking lot facing Highland in 90. SuperFresh by Paradise. Man what a shitty grocery store. Mr Gattis was the Sunday lunch life saver. Kinkos next to Louie’s I believe.

No … Louie’s moved into it.. they made it look similar inside with a bar to sit at while they cook.. lots of black/white/red

They wanted more sitting and more importantly…parking.. they even set up the drive through so you can call ahead and use the window to pick up and go.

Same food and ambiance…

The old Louie’s has been a few things but nothing successful yet.. it is up for lease again.. in fairness crab queen was successful but moved to a different place they wanted.

There was a bank next to the IHOP. I don’t remember which bank but a lot of students had accounts there.

true story, it was robbed one day and we were walking from kirby smith to the university theater & found the money bag. it had been ink bombed so at first we were running over to it to grab cash..then we saw the pink ink and had the sads.

I would go there on Friday after classes and by 4 of the 50 or 60 cent 1/4 pound burgers. That was breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday. Then hit Gattis on Sunday. Had to save the majority of my money for drinking.

Lived in Kirby, worked at Murphy's and had friends that worked at Todd Garland, so the amount of time I spent in that area was crazy.
