Time to get the Ticketmaster’s and live nations out of the game. I love concerts and have been to hundreds, but it doesn’t make sense to go to them lately

Do it for half the price and you've got a fulltime job.

Shitty music + absurd ticket prices = no one cares.

I will punt a toddler if Weird Al cancels the BR show.

There was a day when tickets were cheaper than the shirts for sale. For thirty dollars, get a ticket, shirt and free contact high.

Now do non-shite artists.
Exactly. Who gives a shite about the Pussycat Dolls or Megan Trainor? Stay in Vegas where you belong or book smaller buildings. The clubs are still packed with good bands.

Never paid more than 30 to see a concert, except $55 garth brooks when i went to tank school and needed something to do. That tour was the highest grossing tour of 2015 so it just goes to show people will go if it's affordable.

Good save your money. They can ead.

the band I go see the most has ticket prices between 50-100 bucks depending on venue and location and just this year completely sold out their winter and spring tour dates (until the bandleader broke his leg
). Many of those dates sold out the day of the presale
Shitty music doesn’t sell, but good music will always sell. Support good music and you’ll always have a show to go see

It’s past about time to make Live Nation go away

They've priced out of what most people are willing to pay. The "get in" cost for most concerts these days is $150 after fees PER TICKET, and if you want good seats, it's more more like $200-250. It's just not worth it to me.

These greedy musicians have every option NOT to go through Ticketmaster.
Posted on 5/9/26 at 5:58 am to Kinderman
I remember sipping on a bottle of Boone's Farm and waiting for The Warehouse ticket window to open so I could pay six bucks to see Yes and Jethro Tull on the same bill.
Posted on 5/9/26 at 6:19 am to Kinderman
No idea why people want to pay that much to go to one anymore
Posted on 5/9/26 at 6:19 am to Shiftyplus1
And people don't want to get shot up when the culcha loses control of it's impulses
Posted on 5/9/26 at 6:26 am to TaderSalad
Get better taste in music if you are attending concerts where "culcha" will be in the crowd. Shitty music attracts shitty people.

Every one of these guys think they can headline a Football stadium tour based on being an opening act for a Morgan Wallen or Luke Bryan etc…then go at it on their own and seen 1/3 of the fans.
Saw Post Malone at Stagecoach half his songs in a 90minute set were cover songs. Even last year opening for Morgan Wallen he was not good and only opening for Wallen gave him a fake sense of support/fans. The pricing is outrageous to see 60-90mins and they play 4-5 existing songs and 5-6 new ones that are so-so… it’s the tix prices, hotel gouging, merch over priced etc. They wonder why they price out the average fans same at sporting events!
