Anyone familiar with the area? Best places to live? Best schools? We are open and could move 30 minutes or so from the actual city. We don’t know anything about the area. Any information would be great.

Thanks for all the replies...

Overview... I will be traveling for work all throughout East Tennessee (Nashville to Knoxville including a bunch of small towns around both cities), We could technically live anywhere around Nashville or Knoxville or anywhere in between. However, wife is pushing hard for Nashville. We have a 2 year old and public schools would be nice. Home budget is 500k and would prefer not a fixer upper. We may rent until we can bump our budget up. Any advice will help!!! Thanks for all the comments so far.

Traffic is getting to be horrific. Anything close is getting insanely expensive. Williamson Co just south of Nashville has great public schools and is very livable if you are a fan of suburbia.

Blast from the past. I haven’t watched that in 20 years. Gonna see if it’s on Netflix.

Where are you going to be working? What is your budget? Are you scared of brown people?

If I play my cards right, I’ll be in the same boat and asking the same questions about Nashville in January. Good luck!

Definitely not this

Nashville is the shite. The red necks don’t live in Nashville. I’ll post more about this when I’m sober, lots of good areas to live. Williamson County is the school zone you want. GREAT public schools.

Decent budget, I'd look at Temple Hills, Cottonwood, Hunterwood (tough to get in that price point). I'd also consider Fieldstone Farms on Ease side of Hillsboro Road.
