What a massive let down. Bunch of bums. No heart at all.
What a group of bums. No heart tonight.

What a pussy arse bitch gutless performance. Scared little bitches is what they've played like all night.
I miss the teams that punched above their weight but had HEART. This is lackluster and pathetic.

Henderson didn’t play?!? Booked and injured without even playing. Amazing accomplishment.
What a game.
Mexico still doing the “chant” with each GK? I thought they got in trouble for that
Studs were up but he landed on the ball directing his studs upward. Don’t think there was malice though

What a great game.
Can you imagine what today would have been like with Kamala as president?
How on earth are we sitting on a suspended player and these aren’t being reviewed?!?

Paraguay playing dirty

In real time how long do you think it took in between the supposed Croatia touch and the Portuguese obvious touch. .2 seconds? It stands to reason the blip should be in that graph.
Depends on the sweep speed of the graph. I 100% agree they should have shown both spikes if there were two deflections.
Apparently this is a very sensitive system. It has to be synchronized to the millisecond in order for it to work properly. Any lag in the camera system could have timed up the Portugal deflection with the spike on the graph displayed on the TV screen. Bottom line, they needed to show both.

If the sensor can pick up that slight of a touch (hair flick) then the ball hitting a freakin bug mid flight could do the same thing.
In other words - If the sensitivity is that high then noise artifact becomes a potential confounder.
If I’m Croatia - I’m doing a deep dive on the sensitivity of that sensor.

Someone check that last German PK players bank account. That shank was sooo bad.

What a horrifically stupid ending.

Yes - 100% “legit” last title.
What a breath of fresh air!

In all seriousness this case does highlight some of the biggest concerns with the system.
A single provider can be the sole arbiter. Imagine if ideology was ever a factor in the provider’s readiness to provide the service. Much easier with a fast track without oversight.
It can very easily flip into a utilitarian mindset: The system is incentivized to get rid of costly and resource-heavy patients. It’s much cheaper to off someone under thinly veiled moral disguise of patient-assisted euthanasia.
The moral slippery slope is very real.
