What's the deal with the exit ramp on I-10/110 S?
Seems like they haven't done anything on it for weeks.

Hooper Road and Pecue Lane will both also be widened to 4 lanes (with median and lighting).
I was told a tax I voted for in 1981 would 4 lane Hooper Road from Blackwater to Sullivan...didn't happen, and now I'm about to retire and will not benefit from said expansion.
I'll believe it when I see it.

Oh so it started but not really.
We launched a website and we're having a community meeting.
Sounds about right.
Our taxes at work.
Well, soon to not be my taxes at work as soon as we usher in the glorious city of St George.

We’ll still be paying for it.

There's also a project to widen Flannery
Maybe they'll repair the bridge at Old Hammond that's been closed since July before that happens.

All it took was seeing St. George become a reality.
It’s like the boyfriend after he’s dumped.

Do we still get this once STG passes
We should since it's a parish project paid for with parish sales taxes.
But I would bet that the "priorities" for the projects will be revised.

Was actually designed as a 5-lane. Sewer was issue and local councilman didn't want people being charged a user fee. He said he didn't want to lose votes over it. So he basically killed project and they go and name bridges on Central Thruway after him and his wife. Once again the traveling public suffer to keep votes.

Are they building that ramp to give 110 access to Washington Street so they can eventually get rid of the Washington Street ramp on 10 whenever they start that widening project?

This was a project under original GLP that ran out of funding. Engineers had been working on plans back in late 2008 to 2010
Broome has never finished the GL plan.
It seems to me like that would be job 1.
After all they are still collecting the GL tax.

This is already under construction
Actually they are upgrading the Lee/Brightside/Nicholson intersection.
They have not started the four lane project from there to LSU.

A ton of these are carried over Green Light Plan projects.
They've been talking about the Jones Creek extension since Nam.

A meeting to launch a website to survey a future plan. Then they’ll commission a panel to receive feedback on the future plan, before sending the results off to a company who will draft a proposal and gather bids for the project.
They’ll then present those bids, and end up doing two small projects that will go way over time and way over budget before the whole thing is scrapped when new leadership takes over

Everybody wants the government to take care of them for free. Quit bringing up funding and build and loop and a bridge and use gold, please.

People would be willing to pay if shite got done right and didn’t involve someone’s retarded cousin getting a sweetheart deal on the bid.
