My mom and sister looked for things to argue about for years. It was always “god damnit” from my Dad and I when they’d start up, since both of them had to have the last word, which eventually led to either my dad and I flipping our shite in order to end the endlessly escalating bullshite.

Nah, men want to defuse a situation as quickly as possible. Chris Rock put it best on why you can never beat a woman in an argument, because we have a handicap when it comes to arguing, because we have a need to make sense. Women ain’t gonna let a little thing like sense frick up their argument: LINK

If y'all ever want to listen to the wisdom of the gods in regards to women, listen to Patrice O'Neal's discussions on Youtube.

I swear to God! It's like my wife looks for shite to fight with our daughter about. Certainly, she's a teenager and has her moments, but good Lord, it is a fricking war at the drop of a hat.

Me and you both my man, I also have a teenager daughter and it’s literarily like walking on eggshells when they go at it. I have to pick my battles and unfortunately for me I’m usually wrong.

Even the father/son relationship cannot compare to the mother/daughter relationship. The people i know who had issues with their dad were all because their dad were either absent or just a general pos man in the household.

Yes, big difference here. Men that hate their fathers almost always have good reason to do so, with them abandoning them, beating the shite out of them, abusing their mother, or emotionally abusing them if they don’t meet their standards.

A guy in his mid 20s is not mad at his dad for not letting him hang out with the high school deadbeats until 4:00 in the morning when they were 16. Men come to realize that that was a path to being a loser and thank their dads for not allowing them to hang with a bunch of degenerates and impregnate a girl before their 20s.

Women though, they’ll be pissed off at their mothers for years over trivial bullshite when they were clearly in the wrong. It doesn’t matter if Betty now has 4 kids from 3 different fathers, you stop her from hanging out with the cool cheerleaders or going to prom with a senior when you’re in the 9th grade, they will resent you for that for decades to come.

It never really ends, even when the daughters are adults. All women are insane and are only happy when they create drama about meaningless crap. It’s a control thing, and why women in general can’t work together.

honorary doctorate

Don't sell yourself short, that's worth an honorary Silver Star at least (or Medal of Freedom if you prefer something civilian)

I thoroughly don’t understand how lesbian relationships work. Gay relationships, sure that makes sense, but without a dude that just wants to defuse the situation immediately and not escalate it, I have no idea how those relationships can last.

They have the highest rates of domestic violence, funnily enough.

Not surprising. Women think they can get physically violent and get away with it. Unless you were raised by a bunch of animals, men don’t have such assumptions. Plus women don’t know how to break it off, while men often think to themselves “Is there anything productive that can come out of continuing this conversation?” Women just want to have the last word in and refuse to concede to the other.

I have a wife and 2 teenage daughters. I live this shite all the time. The girls can sometimes be minding their own business and my wife will find inane crap to argue about. Hell, sometimes she will ask them something or to do something and they will agree with her and she finds a way to argue with them about agreeing with her. It’s insanity. I’m glad we have extra square footage in our house.

It is a well known mother/son, father/daughter dynamic. I have twin daughters and we get along very well. They argue with my wife much more. I strongly suspect if they were boys the opposite would happen.

Yep.

There's a reason why parents usually have better relationships with their opposite sex children and tend to show more favoritism for them over children of their own sex.

The stereotype of Daddy's Girl and Mama's Boy or Daddy's Princess and Mommy's Prince doesn't exist for nothing.

That is SOP. No doubt.

good advice if you want to have huge family problems down the road that may never end.

1. your daughter will hate your wife
2. your daughter will hate you for not sticking up for her

you have to stick up for your kids even against your spouse if they are in the wrong. man is the leader of the house, fricking lead.
