re: Pit Barrel cooker vs Weber Smoky Mountain - Broken Coyote
I will when I decide. The Bronco looks like a great smoker, but I will probably go with the PBC or WSM for portability. Will retire soon and don’t plan on sitting on my back porch and watch the world go by....

Pit Barrel cooker vs Weber Smoky Mountain - Broken Coyote
I have a Pit Boss pellet grill and I do love it. Get up early, set the temp, throw the prepped meat on and go do something useful...or not. But I have a hankering for a charcoal burner and I have narrowed my choices to a PBC or WSM. A side stick burner some day, but not right now. From my rese...

re: Worst way you've had something spoiled for you **SPOILERS PROBABLY** - Broken Coyote
My worst ever spoiler experience wasn’t with A tv show or movie. It happened with a game. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. As I was playing through the first time, I was reading some game play forums, just casually getting some tips on building a character, and some a-hole posted the greates...

re: The Last Kingdom on Netflix - Broken Coyote
In the novels, Cornwell is up front about what is history and where he took liberties, sometimes because there was so little recorded history surrounding certain events and people. And others for dramatic effect or plot device. There was no evidence in the historical record that Aethelred was a w...

re: Shawshank or The Green Mile? - Broken Coyote
1: Shawshank 1a: Green Mile It amazes me still that these two stories came from the mind of Stephen King. He has written some great books, but he’s produced a lot of drivel as well. These two, inspired, and were perfect translations to the big screen....

re: What movie traumatized you as a kid? - Broken Coyote
House of Dark Shadows. As a small boy, it scared me to death. Got my arse beat for painting a huge cross on my dad’s shed to keep the vampires away when I played outside after dark....

re: Anyone else watch Ancient Aliens not because they believe it - Broken Coyote
The ruins they visit/show and learning where they are located is enough to keep my attention. I read Chariots of the Gods way back in high school and thought it was interesting then. A lot of the show is interesting, but it’s also hilarious when they take on a subject none of them obviously believe ...

re: Villains who got a pass later on - Broken Coyote
Never forget that Luke Skywalker murdered 1,148,309 people when he blew up the death star in A New Hope.
That’s what happens when a naive farm boy with limited education and exposure to the greater world experiences a traumatic event while being recruited to a dogmatic religion....

Can’t speak for LG, but I love my Samsung Q70R Qled. Picture is amazing. Always had good luck with Samsung TVs. The 65 inch Qled replaced a 7 yo 55 inch 1080p that still works perfectly in the playroom for the grandkids....

re: Movies You Love, but Can’t Rewatch - Broken Coyote
Saving Private Ryan for me too. An amazing movie from start to finish. I am normally not an emotional person and this movie made me feel so much, from the beach landing to the fight scene where the Jewish soldier loses his single fight for survival, to the end where Tom Hanks tells Matt Damon, I hop...

re: 'Birds of Prey' bombs at the box office — and feminists are blaming sexism - Broken Coyote
Here’s the thing about being the great evil, straight, sexist, white male in the year 2020. I can still spend the money I make on what I want to spend it on, as long as it is legal, and DGF what anyone else thinks. If all the woke people would spend their money on woke movies and projects, they w...
