Because women are in competition with each other over everything. Even moms and daughters and that makes them bat shite crazy.

Because I’m reality the daughter is pretty much exactly like her mom and so the mom is basically getting pissed at shite she would do herself

The accounts in here make me so thankful that the only female in my household was my mom.

That's because you are looking at their argument through a man's eyes.

You have to understand that men are logic based creatures. Women are emotion based creatures. Your wife is not trying to make a logical argument. She's imposing a pecking order that says, I'm the top ranking hen around here, wrong or right! It's an emotional struggle between the mother and daughter. So your sense of logic may say your wife is wrong, but she doesn't give a flying frick about the logic. In fact, if she can impose her will, even though she is wrong, that makes the victory all the better.

Trust me. I'm not a psychologist, but I have 6 sisters, 3 daughters, and a wife who was raised in a family of 4 girls. So you could say I have earned an honorary doctorate in female behavior.

I have a friend who has no close female friends and she has said more than once that she just doesn't want the drama because women are bitches.

Women are weird creatures. Most women i know have all said how they fought with their mothers multiple times. Hell My wife and her mother has a weird freaking relationship. They talk maybe once or twice a month if lucky, and even when they do, its for about 5-10 minutes. Meanwhile I talk to my mom once a week usually no problem at all.

Even the father/son relationship cannot compare to the mother/daughter relationship. The people i know who had issues with their dad were all because their dad were either absent or just a general pos man in the household.
