Highland crossing
Bocage
Bocage lakes

I don't know if you would count this as in BR, but Mallard Lakes off of Hoo Shoo Too is my favorite out of all of them. Large houses on large property.

Both great and not many people know of them.

Pikes Lane and Highland Bluff CT are easier to stumble upon and are affluently above most.

Most prestigious neighborhood in BR?

What neighborhood probably is the best kept secret in BR?

These are two very different things. The first answer is Bocage in my opinion. Eliza Beaumont Ln would probably be my answer to the second question. There are others that are similar, but probably not as well tucked away (i.e. Hideaway Court)

Most prestigious? Bocage

But to answer your post body about the "best kept secret" nice neighborhoods, I'd say Woodstone and Woodgate off of Highland.

I saw one person mention Mallard Lakes.

I’m not even sure how any body can name a neighborhood in BR and call it prestige without mentioning Mallard Lakes.

There is a requirement to how many square feet you have to have as a minimum to even build in the neighborhood.

Eliza Beaumont Lane, if you have been there it was because you know someone that lives there or you got lost and found it by accident.\

This place is a very well hidden neighborhood in the middle of Baton Rouge - always thought this place was cool.

I’m not sure if you are aware but this applies to many neighborhoods.

I didn't know this was a thing until I went to an engagement party for a friend out there. We didn't explore the entire neighborhood, but the home we were at was very nice. Seemed like a nice secluded neighborhood.

we used to go back in the woods to have bonfires/parties in highschool when that neighborhood was just a random empty street

Problem is it's not a nearly secret which was criteria in the OP.
Mallard Lakes has been a cluster frick to develop from day one. The multiple empty lots between the houses AIN'T on purpose.

Yeah, but the requirement isn't something rediculous like 5000+ sqft.

Love me some University Acres. We used to live just outside, but the streets linked up. Was a great place to get a new mom pushing a stroller up hills, and back into shape. If I ever came back to BR, I would look in that area, again.
