Filled up on the appetizers before Christmas dinner, followed by eating a ton for dinner, and finally, despite being full, eating dessert afterwards

Ate an entire plat of leftover mac'n'cheese for dinner the other night. I'm not proud of it, but I'm also not ashamed of it. I quite enjoyed it.

A buddy and I went kayak fishing at Lake Fausse. After, we had lunch at Pat's in Henderson. We ordered crabmeat stuffed mushrooms, hushpuppies, and I ordered a shrimp poyboy. He asked if he could get a poyboy that was half shrimp, half catfish. The waitress said "sorry, no". So he ordered a shrimp poyboy.

And he ordered a catfish poyboy.

We didn't eat everything, but we ate more than we should have.

I usually eat super clean and limit cals, but Christmas was a HUGE cheat day for me.
6 bowls of seafood gumbo, 7 dinner rolls, 8 bourbon and cokes, and a partridge in a pear treeeeeeee

Made 5 batches of Chex mix in 2 turkey roaster pans. Doubled the seasonings and butter for all of it to give it a good flavor. That called for almost 2 pounds of butter. Ran out of butter, so I mixed in some olive oil to complete it.

And it won’t last long around here.

:Goes and gets another handful:

Way too much. I am probably 15 lbs heavier than I was a week ago at this point. Realized this last night and posting from inside the gym so I should be back chiseled again pretty soon

Started Christmas morning with my homemade eggnog (bourbon, rum, brandy and a bit of coffee liquor) in my coffee.

Wash, rinse, repent.

I ate the remnants of prime rib off my wife's plate when she was done. Definitely some fat, it was good.

quote:

3 dozen oysters 1 dozen charbroiled in one setting. Can't get that stuff in California!

That’s like the exact opposite of a fatty move.

I have eaten fettuccine and lasagna for the past three days. I have also drank at least one bottle of wine every day.

Venelder dropped off a tray of assorted chocolates, I crushed about 6 chocolate covered pretzels sticks.
I have no remorse.
