If you are north of I20 and east of 75/85 you are perfectly fine in Atlanta. Stay out of SW Atlanta completely and parts of NW Atlanta. Otherwise you’ll be perfectly fine.

Exactly. I mean don't go walking through old downtown by yourself at 2 in. The morning or go hangout in the Bluffs and outside pockets like mechanicsville, etc is all gang wars that say on that side of town.

I don’t disagree with any of your points. I never made a statement that Africa hasn’t had the opportunity to sustain itself in modern times. Only that it was raided for its resources, which is factually correct. Of course tribal kings, the slave trade, the things you mention, were to their detriment as well. But those were also lead by a select few at the top, which has been the way of Africa since the beginning of recorded history.
We can go back as far as you want to pinpoint where Africa’s issues begin. That’s fine. But everything else in between can’t just be ignored.
Funding UNITA is the most blatant example and is quite recent. Jonas Savimbi was on the American tax dollar payroll and he was a mass murderer that we thought we could benefit from being in power. We not only allowed, but funded, a civil war in the name of fighting communism. To pretend we didn’t directly play a role in today’s Angola is burying your head in the sand
