Attorneys

Retired attorneys are even worse in my experience.

A couple retired attorneys in my neighborhood and they always want to stop to discuss current events. A lot of “well actually” remarks from them.

“Well actually, gfy” is always on the tip of my tongue.

Because of the teachers or the difficulty of being a teacher?

It's usually good to know what temperature the O-Ring you're about to buy effectively stops working.

I don't have a problem with this one.

Happy to shite on non certified PE’s ideas because they know so much more than you. Yet they always seem to frick up the design, over estimate their knowledge, and cost millions to correct their hubris.

At least they tend to be fairly non-irritating personalities and show up on time.

Residential construction trades are awful. You're lucky if they show up, if they do, you're lucky if they give you a bid that isn't insane, and then once they start working, they overcharge what they bid the job for. Finally, assuming that they actually show up, and actually do the job (which they probably will quit half-way through and never return), half of their work will be so shoddy that you'll have to redo it. Finally, good luck putting a lien on them or trying to track them down because despite being licensed and bonded, they somehow still manage to vanish like a thief in the night as soon as they get half of what you agreed to pay them.

Correct. You're either a PE or you're not. . . .

STEM folks are smart people, they just lack social skills. The ones that do have social skills are some of the most fun and charismatic people to be around because they have an abundance of knowledge and don't try to talk down to others.

As a teacher, I say teachers.

Too many bitch about everything and waste so much time bitching that they don’t get their work done. Then they bitch about staying late or working at home but never realize that they are the reason they didn’t finish by 3pm.

Also, way too many teachers bitch all the time about behavior and discipline but never stop to realize that their lessons, attitude, lack of creativity, assessments, and feedback cause the behavior problems.

As an attorney, I vote attorneys. And then number two is, "all clients," regardless of career. So you see why number one is number one.

My mind is always open, if you're not some monomania idiot, I'll listen.

Most annoying? Trial lawyers.

Idk about most annoying there is, but I am biased when saying this, but being in the construction industry is annoying as frick. Trust me. Dealing with idiots and whiny people all day is such a joy to deal with.
