Damn, man….you should put some money into insulation and you could probably knock that bill down by two thirds. Check out some spray foam.

Call me when you’re ready to start the demo. I just finished a job recently on a house similar to yours. Albeit the owner wasn’t nearly as dead sexy. You could rub one out to pictures of the wife, but it got tricky finding a place to get after it once the pool house was leveled.

I had three guys working on my crew and we got it done in under a week. Each morning, I’d hand them one of these with a fresh Z Cord and told them tacos at 11.

$415 levelized monthly.

Of course, that’s for 2 houses and a barn on the property.

My highest electricity bill ever was like 185. What the hell are you running to have that kind of bill?

Three AC units in a large house with zero insulation. Also probably a bunch of old light bulbs using 10X more power than necessary directly while the other 9X is released as heat adding more work for the three AC units.

Average of the house I’m leaving was $485 a month.

I’m told the average of the new house is $400 but it’s 100 years old and 5000 sq ft so we’ll have to see.

A thousand is pretty high I was about to complain about mine being 371

Granted if you say you've got an old house and I assume you're in the south it sounds like there are several measures you can take many of them DIY to get it down anywhere from caulking windows to tinting windows to getting HVAC company inspecting your system to being sure the ducts are clean, etc.

ETA ^^ 5000 sq ft 100 year old house holy crap that's got to be a hell of a central AC system. You don't use any window units anywhere?

Are you living in an old super sized mansion that doesn’t have any windows? That electricity bill doesn’t even begin to make sense.
