Heard similar stories from old timers in Cameron Parish who went through hurricane Audrey. It’s unimaginable and not sure what the people in NC could have done different.

I don't think I'd ever recoup from that as a mother. My 6 year old is my entire world, and my heart just breaks for that family. And everyone. This is all so sad.

she may have wanted her story told for no reason other than wanting people to know and remember with no other motives than that. People handle such so very differently.

And she's probably looking for assistance for body recovery to boot.
