This is the title of the article.

Moderna coronavirus vaccine offers immunity for...at least 3 months
The title of my thread.
Jeez. Virtually the same.

Regardless of how long the immunization lasts for if were getting peple vaccinated and its not spreading wouldnt that eventually cause the virus to die out anyway? If there's less viable hosts for it to spread to over a certain period then wouldn't that, in sense, wipe it out? Am I missing something?
I just don't understand why I'm supposed to be let down by this article.

Well, I think I'm going to have to pass on this one. How many billions did we give for this?

you act like because you shared a clickbait Foxnews headline that you are somehow immune to criticism?

Until we can get 100% guarantee immunity last at least a year and 100% guarantee the vaccine is safe, we arent going back to normal
That is where the bar has been set
sad but true

So, until the vaccine manufacturers and politicians supporting them have articles talking about its guaranteed immunity for a year or more, I am not excited

I sighed because it is going to get taken as we only have 3 months immunity.
You people are worse than the loon anti-vaxxers on this board.
There have been very few people more gung-ho about the vaccines than me on this board. Get over yourself.

Are people going to just get the vaccine every 3-4 months for life?
I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but shutting down the economy so we need Universal Basic Income + Quarterly Vaccines paid for/controlled by the government seems like a good way to take control of the population for our new alien overlords.

Of course you did
quote:And why wouldn’t they when you direct the thread that way.
IF it is only 3 months, its completely pointless to get it. Are people going to just get the vaccine every 3-4 months for life? Total nonsense.

Yes there are hundreds now, which is like .0000001% reinfection rate and exceedingly rare.
What they aren't sure of is (as I understand it) if the initial infections were leukocytic or myeloid responses. The latter would not produce a significant t-cell response to provide prolonged immunity.

T and B Cells bros...
Antibodies always decrease after infection, body remembers how to make them quickly the next time.

We're moving to a "no risk is acceptable" form of governance and it's going to be in overdrive from a federal level beginning in January.
