Spike in cases? That damn Trump rally in Mississippi did this. I'm sure of it.
We need more protests and riots to stop this spike!
Oh and change the flag.
Corona solved!

Governor banned elective surgeries this week, I believe.
Does this include outpatient procedures?
Virus isn't going anywhere. Elective surgery demand also isn't going anywhere.

Wrong.
Only banned elective surgeries that would require an inpatient stay greater than 24 hours. And it was only for a few counties so far

So how many covid patients are taking up ICU? My bet is all these elective surgeries they put off 4 months ago have turned into now surgeries.
They discontinued elective surgeries again.

“Capacity” is such a misunderstood term. It’s not a fix term albeit it may seem so to the layperson. Good operators can shift to create capacity and healthcare is not immune.

We should go to total lockdown again but for longer this time, give the virus some time to go somewhere else
Posted on 7/9/20 at 7:42 pm to SPEEDY
quote:Because people are actually less sick this go-round, only about 1/2 the covid beds need to be in icu.
out of ICU beds as coronavirus cases surge
So flexing to need is easily achieved.
