Like I mentioned in another comment, the average black person on the internet has already determined it was foul play evidence be damned. If it comes back otherwise, it is racist Mississippi covering up a crime for whitey.

I’ve seen it said that the White boys need to talk to the parents.
I’ve also seen the one White boy who contacted the mother and the Coast Guard is a likely suspect because he reported it.
The kids can’t win.

NBC Nightly News just played audio of one of the White boys calling to Sea Tow. That will save their butts and also likely clear them in a civil suite.

GPS data from the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources, obtained by CBS News, tracks the movements of the boat that carried Nolan Wells to Horn Island on July 4. Wells was found dead after going missing following an outing on the island.
The vessel left a dock at approximately 9:56 a.m. that morning and arrived at Horn Island at 11:14 a.m. CBS News has previously reported that Wells was not on the boat when it departed the island.
According to the GPS data, the boat left Horn Island at 4:31 p.m. and returned to its original departure dock. It then traveled into Fort Bayou around 5:52 p.m. before returning to the dock at 6:06 p.m.
Later that evening, the boat went to the Fort Bayou boat launch at 7:19 p.m., according to the MSDMR report. From there, it traveled over land — presumably towed by a vehicle — to the Biloxi, Mississippi, residence of the boat's owners.
The MSDMR report indicates that the boat's owner, his mother and one other individual who was reportedly with Wells on the day of the incident have cooperated with the investigation.

The amount of people who believe this is some type of victory or proof something happened is hilarious. A grand jury is the DAs break glass in case of emergency when you need to have someone else shite can a bad case.

Exactly this ^^^. It's standard protocol to let a grand jury review accidental death cases just to make sure nothing unlawful happened. The DA is now punting the responsibility to a 16 person confidential grand jury to make the call.

What is sad is that the DA doesn't have a set of balls to say we have no case. Let's just send this to a Grand Jury, which will be a bunch of bullied guiltys by the racist mob, and let them indict some inocent kids. This race bullshite from the media and the race hucksters needs to end now.

I’m with you and agree. However I don’t see how you can pass charges to them with no evidence. Now there are GPS records of the boat leaving when it was confirmed Nolan was still on the island. Aside from the mobs narrow scope of reality and made up speculation. No facts at all.
