An incident can happen on Tuesday and the cops are fired on Wednesday? No investigation... or one heck of a quick investigation

Well, everything was on video, so that makes it pretty easy. The guy was fine and then he was dead. It was clearly neglect for the other guys not to stop the guy from kneeling on the suspect/victim's neck. They could have stopped this from becoming what it became.

Dude was on the ground saying “I can’t breathe” and was dead just a few seconds later?

my favorite is when they get on your boat to do their search, or ask to search your car and act all buddy buddy

frick them. They’re trying to find something to write or a ticket or take you to jail for. SMD

From the video I saw, I don’t think that the cops used excessive force to keep this guy restrained that still posed a threat. Again, I don’t know if that was the case until more evidence comes out and I am not saying the cops shouldn’t be charged.

Love it. Fight for your rights until you can't breathe. Then, just lay there like a corpse because that's the American thing to do.

How ironic in these times.

Again, all I see in this thread are a bunch of people jumping to conclusions. I shouldn’t be surprised because we see this all the time.

The only thing that I am certain of at this point is that I am certain that I will never be physically harmed by a police officer.

If the cops being investigated are still cooperating, I might be better to hold off on an arrest. That includes the officers that witnessed the murder, partners, and dispatch. Once the arrests start happening witnesses can get spooked.

He was on his neck for a few minutes while he was still conscious and pleading and a number of minutes after he went unconscious.

Yes, people almost always jump to conclusions. However, please tell me one thing you could realistically imagine hearing that would make you feel that the cop was justified in keeping his knee on his neck for that long.

And no, I wouldn't be surprised if he heavily resisted (even though the videos released so far have not shown any of that). I find it odd that the media has not released the video of him going down on the ground because it would seem that there is a video of this too since there is video of everything else. However, he was completely subdued, cuffed and not putting anyone in imminent danger when that cop had his knee on him that whole time.

I see that this video is an hour old, not sure if it has been posted here.

LINK

Floyd falls and then the officers are all standing over him? WTF? At no point did he resist.

Don't forget. This is the same police department that killed this woman.
LINK

Was the same person Chief of Police when the woman was killed that is COP today? If so, then maybe there needs to be a review of the whole fricking department.

So in the last few years the Twin Cities had a Mexican cop kill a black man, a Somali refugee cop kill a white woman, and now a white cop kill a black man.

Looks more like a police issue than a race issue.

But that doesn't get clicks or votes.
