Reading the NYT article this ripped off was pretty amazing.
One of the residents took a class on racism and then felt bad about buying a house in the neighborhood because it meant that a person of color didn't.
Her mom had spent 30 years in the neighborhood doing community events and regretted that she didn't make things better, she had only gentrified it.
Many of the Hispanic residents felt left out because the "collective conversation" was in English and not Spanish.
One of the residents took a class on racism and then felt bad about buying a house in the neighborhood because it meant that a person of color didn't.
Her mom had spent 30 years in the neighborhood doing community events and regretted that she didn't make things better, she had only gentrified it.

I don't know about that, I live in probably the most Republican neighborhood in the State, there is no way in hell any of my neighbors would agree not to call the Sheriff's Office out of some sense of solidarity with criminals. No f*cking way.

Has the IQ of the American populace plummeted over the last decade? On the one hand, police brutality should not be tolerated. On the other hand, the police are absolutely essential to maintaining order and the rule of law. It's obvious that they are.

Umm... no. There might be some protests in Little Rock, and some indoctrinated college kids might even try staking out a section in Fayetteville, but lawlessness and violence? No. Arkansas is one of the highest per capita in gun ownership in the country, and even our idiots know that they would be getting their asses shot off in short order.
