Useless degrees
Sweet talking point though

So, in short, boomers benefited off the success of their parents by getting jobs in a booming post war economy with no education, and have since hoarded more and more of their money, creating one of the biggest wealth gaps observed in modern history.
1) Millenials are retards for putting themselves into debt by getting college degrees in dead end fields.
2) It's not "hoarding". It's saving and not spending every last earned dime on bullshite frivolities. Take ownership of your failures already, grow up.

They earned the money. Were they supposed to just give it away, and to people who are not their children (because we can't have kids benefiting on their parents' success)
By no means am I advocating boomers go hand out their money on the side of the road. I was implying that boomers were able to get their foot in the door to an industry much easier than anyone has it today (no 5 rounds of interviews, background check, drug tests, prior experience or qualifications). They are now running these companies and 'hoarding' the profits, creating the wealth gap we see today

The best thing about boomers is they are dropping like flies, good riddance.

Why is it so hard to admit the milennials have been dealt a bad hand with the economy and job market?

The youngsters will be the richest ever in the history of the world. The baby boomers will be passing down over 64 trillion dollars to these youngsters so be nice.

And apparently it’s not doing them any good.

It's pretty simple. You kept voting for dumb shite politicians (both sides) who let Roosh Vaj, Chang and Jose in to kill Tyrone and Billy Bob's wage gains.

The economy is actually great.
Products just cost significantly more now, relative to wages.
Purchasing a home or car is harder now compared to then.
There are also significantly more “required purchases” now compared to then.

That’s debatable

Ok boomer

Millennials got hammered by the financial crisis. The job market was terrible, so they took jobs for lower starting pay, and now their percentage raises haven’t compounded as much as prior generations because of the lower starting point (on real terms).
People can shite on millennials all they want, but that’s a tough break that had nothing to do with them.

Theyve convinced themselves for over a decade that millenials are just participation trophy recipients, snowflakey, bums.
any info contrary must hurdle massive cognitive bias, so will likely just be dismissed instead. highest % in STEM degrees, yet they believe most every millennial is getting liberal arts degrees.

Boomers who got college degrees were in a much better place because very few people had college degrees. Today many more have college degrees so they aren't worth as much.
Not boomers fault.
Not millenials fault.
Quitcherbitchen and go be productive.

Great. Compare their salaries to those in the same fields and I bet they're the same as baby boomers.
Add in the myriad of bullshite degrees and it gets weighed down significantly.
And the reason is I'm in IT. I know what millennials are making in the field. It's not cheap to employ them.
