Milennials graduate with the highest pct of STEM degrees for any generation ever
Not all STEM drgrees are equal. A BS in anything but a core engineering discipline is worthless. A BS in Chemistry or Mathematics? Good, you can almost teach at the elementary level and earn dick money. My fiancée double majored in biology and chemistry and knew that wasn't enough. Her Ph.D. in molecular/cellular pathology wasn't going to make her much more than $30k/year either. So she got a DMD and then specialized which is what has made her Ph.D. a real income earner as it opened up immediate University faculty positions. Her first job after residency is about $180k/year right now as a newbie public sector employee, private practice is the next step.
Oh, and she did it all without a single dime of student loans.

Gen Xer here. I don't care what generation are, if you can't make a frick ton of money in this job market, it's a you problem.

Boomers didn't live with their parents after age 18 unless they were too retarded for the army or too ugly for the whore house.
That helped them build character so by the time they were 30, they were grown ups whereas most (not all) mills are still children into their late 20's.

Thats a great anecdote you got, anything to back it up ?

You don’t understand it’s because boomers blame all the problems on “millennials” despite the age of people they’re blasting, specifically on this board?

They weren't straddling themselves with debt from useless degrees.

4, boomers weren't playing on Twitter 8 hours a day either, were they?
They sure as hell weren't on Tigerdroppings all day in their 30s.

How does debt factor into to the headline?

I am not in construction but work with a lot of industrial contractors.
For the most part under 40 ain't worth shite as workers even if they can pass a drug screen and 3rd grade comprehension reading level test (both for safety reasons)

So, in short, boomers benefited off the success of their parents by getting jobs in a booming post war economy with no education, and have since hoarded more and more of their money, creating one of the biggest wealth gaps observed in modern history.
Dude, you so full of shite thinking this or came from a broken home.
Oh. bet your Mom and Dad have real pride in you. Guess you have your hand sticking out right now.

Are you 100% sure your wife hasn’t had a couple Millennial dicks in her mouth?

By no means am I advocating boomers go hand out their money on the side of the road. I was implying that boomers were able to get their foot in the door to an industry much easier than anyone has it today (no 5 rounds of interviews, background check, drug tests, prior experience or qualifications).
Yeah when they were young, business was booming and there were more opportunities than people. Now that things are different, businesses must be more diligent with their money, you know it costs more than just wages to hire someone right? A business needs to get a return on its investments or it can choose to invest in something with a better return than employing people

They are now running these companies and 'hoarding' the profits, creating the wealth gap we see today
What do you mean they’re hoarding money?
Again, do you want them to keep it (no), spend it (no), or give it away (apparently no)? So what do you want them to do with it, bleed it away on employee wages that can’t give them a good return?
Posted on 11/5/19 at 6:31 pm to hubertcumberdale
Oh and once these millennials' baby boomer parents die, they inherit that wealth.
They will come out better in a decade.

It's not shock, academia is flooded with foreign Ph.D candidates and post-doc researchers. They work slave hours and for very little money.
