Everytime someone posts "ok boomer" I can't stop laughing lol

I don't think there's something wrong with going to school for something that isn't a complete joke and can be used in a smart way to get an okay job. I do, however, laugh at the ridiculous majors like Theatre or Performing Arts, Fashion Design, etc.
I thought those were interesting choices for "ridiculous" degrees. Both are reasonably in demand and both have the potential for careers with practically no limits on income. Now if we are talking about getting a degree from Butt frick Tech that has more to do with the school than the major. Get a degree from Parsons, Julliard or Cal Arts and you have the basis for a very lucrative career.

Because Boomers were given a stable post war economy and completley fricked it up then they have the audacity to bitch at the millennials for mostly stupid shite

truth of the matter is that Millennials and Boomers are way more similar than different.
what. no. not at all.
millennials lived in a world where everything is fact checked. bc of this they keep an objective truth at all times
boomers grew up before the information age so they just lied about everything. because nothing could be proven. lie here. lie there. over and over.
I remember there was an argument with one boomer on here and he started copying and pasting random statememts he found on the internet. not realizing that every time he hit the paste button. the website would automatically get sited at the bottom lmao
a millennial would never ever do something so dumb. ever

so true dude. they don't know how to live in an objective reality.
they were raised around anecdotally arguing over everything.

Nearly 40% of millennials 25 to 37 have at least a bachelor’s degree, compared to just a quarter of baby boomers and 30% of Gen X when they were the same age, Pew Research Center found.
Aww
Learn to code, frickers

70s to the early 80s was a shitshow. High unemployment, inflation, extremely high interest rates. Manufacturing died, hundreds of thousands lost jobs

Are you fricking stupid?
You buy into the silly media hype and Hollywood mystique surrounding the "oooooooooooh aaaaaaaaaaaaaah" Julliard school?
From their own website:
quote:
Post Graduation Earnings
AVERAGE SALARY AFTER 10 YEARS
$45,200
A teacher in Louisiana starts at about 40k. STARTS. After 10 years, that teacher is over 50k.
The WORST school in the SEC gets you almost double that
quote:
1. Vanderbilt University* – $119,100 (private university)
2. Texas A&M University – $115,700
3. Auburn University – $104,500
4. LSU – $102,900
5. University of Florida – $102,800
6. University of Georgia – $100,700
7. University of Missouri – $98,600
8. University of Arkansas – $98,000
9. University of Alabama – $97,400
10. University of Kentucky – $96,400
11. University of Tennessee – $95,100
12. Mississippi State University – 94,100
13. University of South Carolina – $89,900
14. University of Mississippi – $89,100
Julliard.. . .fricking lol

100% spot on about boomers and anecdotal data.
but at the same time you're kinda laying down an example of one of the worst qualities of the newer generations, and that is an over reliance on authorities to tell an objective absolute truth. lots of people still out there lying and it gets picked up as the mainstream narrative.
one could do research and analyze all of the data in the world to come up with a hypothesis and someone is going to come along and say it's a 100% objective falsehood because the guy who runs snopes said so.

The millennials, for the most part, are extremely inefficient and somewhat lazy.

You can also enjoy a nice middle class living in any small to medium size town by working at the kids' theater.

Relatively speaking maybe. The ceiling of knowledge is much higher than it used to be.

Baby Boomers did jobs like;
Steel worker, Welder, Architect, Engineer, Diesel/automotive repair. Doctor, lawyer, etc...
Millennials do jobs like;
Barista, social media influencer, Hair stylist, on-line fashion critic, blogger/vlogger, professional injury plaintif. Etc....
Notice a difference?
