That would be Silent Generation, not Boomers.

This is kind of like when short women started wearing heels to look less stubby and make their calves look cute and then the average height and tall girls did it to so they're all the same relative height now.

In fact, this is almost exactly like that.

That wasn’t the boomers.

They were too busy getting high.

That was the “silent generation”.

Early boomers would have been twenties. They were undoubtedly involved. I'll concede the point but not completely.

The truth of the matter is that Millennials and Boomers are way more similar than different.

And the younger GI generation - last time we had 2 decent ones back to back in awhile.

GI Generation - GOAT

Silent Generation - Underrated performer

Boomers - Hit and fricking miss, baws

Gen-X - Silent Generation Part II

Millenials - More misses than hits, so far - still time on the clock, though.

Gen-Z - Too early to tell

The earliest boomers would have been 23 when the last phase of a decade-long initiative to reach the moon concluded in 1969.

Boomers: You entitled kids just think y'all can step into your dream job on day 1 and have everything handed to you! You need to get your foot in the door and work your way up

Also boomers: Boomers finished up the bachelor's degree and sent us to the moon in their first year!

The boomers were so advanced, they joined NASA at 13.

Boomers trying to take credit for someone else's work.

Not all degrees are created equal. Every boomer with a PhD in gender studies has created at least 100 times that amount in millennials.

And the flow of today’s paychecks is less predictable due, in part, to the effects of the Great Recession and a rise in contract and freelance positions that may be less consistent in hours and pay.

Wait, are you telling me there were negative effects from writing all those articles about why working 9 to 5 is indentured servitude and that working remotely from home is the future that will break us free from the chains of cubicles?

:watermelon slingshot gif:

Amazing how that shite works both ways.

Oh, you don’t need to be here 9 hours a day and could do what you need to do from your house in your underwear?

Cool. Probably don’t have to pay you for showing up for 9 hours for an assumed 9 hours worked.

To be fair, they were the ones that choose participation trophies over being rewarded with awards. We tried to tell them. I do think you for participating in being a productive member of society though.
