one really likes Kraft processed cheese food, they only tolerate it.

I love it on a hot ham cheese sandwich.

It's not really cheese anyway. For the most part anything American cheese can do cheddar can do better. However, American cheese just melds better with a burger. That's all I use it for. Homemade double smash burger w/ American cheese FTW

American processed cheese like kraft singles or velveeta is awesome for burgers or rotel dip.

I can’t stand most cheeses other than Swiss cheese on a burger or whatever they make that queso dip out of at Mexican restaurants

I buy it by the block, grate it and make pimento cheese. Take a slice and put it on white bread, a slice of ripe tomato, salt and pepper then put under the broiler until the cheese turns black. That was my afternoon snack as a kid.

If you eat tacos at Mestizo’s his cheese is grated American.

I eat all cheese from good stinky soft cheeses, triple creams all the way to American cheese. They all have their place. frick the haters-live a little.

Boar’s Head white American cheese is absolutely delicious. It is great when you make pepperoni bread. Provolone works but for pepperoni bread, white American is the way to go.

Also, you do understand Mexican restaurant queso is just white American cheese and milk with some jalapeños and spices right? Everyone loves queso.

Yeah at cheap Mexican places, but no one is treating those places like 3 star Michelin spots. And no one is acting like queso at those places are supposed to be high quality.

American cheese isn’t even cheese.

It’s a pasteurized cheese product.

And it sucks. Except for velveeta in grilled cheese

I like american cheese on my roast beef poboys. Grilled cheese is solid too. It melts soft. There are better cheeses for cheeseburgers though I'll tolerate American cheese. Don't think it's good for much else.
