Part of the issue is the very shallow pool for recruiting due to the overwhelming majority of people being ineligible.

I thought all those free sex change operations the military was offering would have everyone running down to the recruiting offices? Shocker actual young men and women that traditionally would have gone into the military probably were turned off to all the Woke agenda taken up by Washington and this current administration. Never had to worry about all this stuff when I was in.

I just got back from a Navy Boot Camp graduation on Thursday at Great Lakes Naval Station right outside Chicago. It was a great experience and seeing all the loving and supportive parents estatic for their young sons and daughters was quite moving.
I was a bit surprised at the number of women and mostly minorities that were in the class. My girlfriend is a fully legal immigrant from El Salvador and this was quite an accomplishment for her young daughter and my opinion is that this is the best decision that she could make for her future.
We.re proud of her and all the other great families that we met throughout the week to see their new recruits reach this accomplishment. I was just surprised that that estimated 20% of the class were white maies.
