Why do I keep seeing the narrative that this vote meant that NBR/blacks don't have a "seat at the table" and their "voices can't be heard"?

All they did is replace a white republican with a white republican.
Once again, they think they should be able to tell other districts who their leader should be all while telling other districts to stay out of their district's business.
The only way any of this makes sense is if you are proudly ignorant of what you're doing. Which they are.

Wow. I had no Idea Tara's district was only 30% white. She represents some of the worst areas of Baton Rouge, too. How the hell did someone who seemingly thinks for herself get elected to that district?

About the same % of whites live in her district as blacks live in Loupe's district.
