I've actually passed through that town. And I've been to just about every town in nebraska, years ago. The thing is it's very desolate out there and about the only thing to do besides watch corn and beans grow.....is drink. So yes people do travel to the bar to drink. Most of her customers are old timers/farmers that live within 10 miles probably. She probably doesn't make much at all and when she passes away the town will sort of vanish off the map, sadly. Coolest thing about being out in the desolate country like that is seeing the stars at night.

My aunt and uncle had a farm in Bloomfield about 35 miles from there.

I've been out to Oneil and Valentine, but can't ever remember that place.
