Lol go ahead and put words into my mouth. You are inferring what you want to believe, not what I said. Dishonesty is a stinky cologne.

The higher strain ones can sometimes give me crippling anxiety. I haven’t looked if it is one’s with lower CBD and higher THC, but man some of those strains are strong . I generally prefer being able to function while high. Lower THC indices are perfect for that.

The 2:1 CDB:THC work great for me.

I'd actually agree with this for the vast majority of users. It turns into an anesthesia to avoid the pain and unpleasant realities.

It could be a great asset when used by responsible people who get good advice from the providers but that is in very short supply.

Greedy, ruthless pharmaceutical companies can’t take competition.

Case closed. frick beta blockers, statins, insulin, metformin, and other drugs. All we need is natural things like marijuana, arsenic, and mercury to cure all of our ailments.

Everything is not black and white you know.
There are places where pharmaceuticals are useful, but follow the $$$ and you get the answer as to why big pharma pushes so hard to keep MMJ out of the mainstream.

I had cannabis use disorder the other night when I dropped the joint. It was devastatingly difficult to get out of my lawn chair and pick it up.

It is addictive, just not as badly as other real drugs.

Agreed, and as a former pot head, this is true. I always hate when people say weed isn’t addictive, because it is, but just not at the level of other things. It’s more of a mind over matter thing when it comes to being addicted to weed.

Was a heavy smoker in college, and when the time came to have my last dance with Mary Jane, it would be hard to eat, and stuff like that for like a week. It was hard to sleep at first too, but after about a week, I was able to eat again, and able to sleep normally. Didn’t have chills, or wasn’t puking and stuff like that. It’s not like being a heroin addict, where you’re physically addicted. It’s more of a mental addiction.

Nicotine is more addictive than weed. I’m still hooked on nicotine products, and have a very hard time quitting. shite, bad food is probably my biggest addiction, and I can’t stop eating that shite it seems.

Clown world is truly a golden age for psychiatry. increasing prevalence of gender dysphoria, transgenderism equalling endless appointments, medical marijuana and the slow march to legalizing everything as well as treating negative effects of them, Benzos, more and more buprenorphine clinics, the relaxation of regulations thanks to Covid-19, the amount of mentally ill skyrocketing, etc. etc.

Read a story about a nurse practitioner doing telehealth for some company and making 240k+ a year. 90% of what she did - prescribe stimulants to adults and kids as young as 6 years old.

I wonder what things will look like in 20 years.

Well that 20+ years of marijuana use for myself says that that is fricking bullshite. Coincidentally, the 3 worst years of my life were the years I was actually on SSRI’s. Marijuana helped me ween from that and saved my life.

Alcohol is, and always will be, the premier intoxicant. Weed does not help in the long term with anxiety, depression, or pain.

No hate, my green friends. NO judgement.
