You DO NOT befriend any parent or patient on any social media platform, especially not in the situation alluded to in the OP.

Had a friend going through some difficult domestic issues which were fortunately worked out for the children's sake more than anything.
During a particular rough patch (if anyone wonders the wife was going nuts but I'm sure most of you assumed this) the police were called. Not your local delbert cops but deputies from a larger parish. No one was cited or arrested, she was attempting to abuse him. Less than 30 minutes after the altercation one of the roided up cops was DMing her on IG - he had found her somehow. She reported him and he was fired, what an idiot.
