You should just skip school... sounds like you've already given up on life.

You’re either a great troll or 16 years old.

And you came to this place to get advice about which field to pursue????

I would think with both parents being doctors, you'd have a wealth of advice just for the asking from those that know the good and bad on that subject.

Accounting. Get into Big 4 and follow the partner track.

They’ll work you to death, but if you can weather the storm, salaries well north of $1million can be achieved.

You don’t go to medical school when you don’t know what the hell to do with your life. That’s what law school this for. Medical field should never be a fallback position

More like lil bitch school vs lil bitch school

If you really want to be respected and make a lot of money be a welder. Welders make the world go round one bead at a time

Don't go to law school for the money. If you don't love it, you will hate it and no amount of money will be worth it.

If simply looking for money and work/life balance, I would consider dental school over either of these. Otherwise, find something you are a dork for (doesn't have to be related to fishing)! Establish yourself as one of the best in your market and make good money.

I’m going out on a limb here and say that you are what, 2 months into your college career and you’re worried about med school or law school? Just worry about not flunking out of undergrad.

If fishing is really your thing get into construction, the contractors I know all actually use their boats regularly. Doctors and Lawyers (especially good ones who are grinding) don’t have time or the freedom to take off on good fishing days.

A couple years from now you are going to look back at this thread and either cringe or laugh.

Before you decide on a career path, you need to re-evaluate your mindset. I’ve seen many people fail, or worse, die prematurely, because they were consumed with power and/or money.

Med School if you can take all of the time required
Law School if you can get into a good firm

My brother went to both. Med school first then decided to go to law school and is an intellectual property lawyer. He doesn't regret it.

Just wait til you take the Bar Exam. Worst summer ever. My girlfriend and I took it at the same time. We got our results, passed, then I dumped her. The summer had destroyed our relationship.

Sounds like summer 2020 is going to be a blast for me.

This is the safest and most predictable career path to at least higher middle class. I did not know salaries north of a mollion were likely but you don’t need 1 million a year. Medicine won’t give me that nor will law unless you own your own firm.
